The Village at Kentlands and Lakelands is a non-profit organization with the sole purpose of serving the needs of our membership. With the help of our corps of volunteers, members have the freedom to choose where they want to live and how while dealing with the modern realities of aging. MEMBERSHIP

Residents 55 and older living in the neighboring communities of Kentlands and Lakelands are eligible to become members.

All services and programs offered by the Village are available. This includes, but is not limited to, our services, interest groups, and educational, cultural, and social events.

"I don't know what I would have done with out the Village volunteers help. When I fell about two years ago I had to have surgery for broken right leg. After rehabiliation for a month I needed help. My family is not near me. The volunteer who still takes me to appointments has also become a dear friend. She and the Village have been the answer to my prayers!"

As part of our partnership with various local businesses and non-profits, our members are entitled to discounts at the following locations

Gaithersburg Arts Barn
The Arts Barn offers an array of programs, classes, workshops, and exhibits to all of Gaithersburg throughout the year. The Village has recently entered a partnership with the Arts Barn to help provide our members with affordable access to certain events and classes. Asbury Methodist Village
Asbury Methodist Village has agreed to share access to their series of exclusive events which include concerts, lectures, seminars, and a variety of luncheons, dinners, and cocktail hours. Recent notable speakers have included Bob Woodward, James Carville, and Cokie Roberts.
